In June of 1973, the sleepy little community of Missoula awoke to the birth of The Shirt Shop. John Stevenson, was concerned that people had things to say, and also wanted to wear those sayings. Phrases like "Keep on Truckin" or "In by a Nose", always drew a laugh. And by being the only game in town, things were "Groovy". This was to become the re-birth of The Shirt Shop. John Stevenson (owner) and Rob Reesman (drone), together, built a reputation that far preceded them. In 1978 Rob purchased The Shirt Shop and life was good. Get to work around 10am., and cut out around 3pm, but like all good things, it had to end. Then the forces of Mother Nature entered. On May 18th, 1980, Mount St. Helens erupted and began the next chapter for The Shirt Shop. Although it was a real "Pain in the Ash", it was a sign for Rob to cut his hair, trim his beard and actually work for a living.

But some things still remain, The Shirt Shop's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. Although "most" of us have changed since 1973, we still retain the same free spirited, fun loving attitude of the era. The Shirt Shop now enjoys worldwide clientele and still enjoys making customers happy.
